More than likely a scam. Loads of them kicking about.
The next stage is to send you an email saying they couldn't deliver it and try to take it from there to get your bank details via a refund etc.
Ignore it.

Did it have any personal details like real name or address? Or just your email?

How do I ignore a person on the doorstep thrusting a package at me and wanting a photo ?
I can block the e mails , it's the doorstep delivery I'm concerned about .
Be amazed if anyone turns up.
If you're worried about having to confront them just pop out?

It's defo a scam . and if its out of the blue just delete them and block their email .
Google what detail you've got about them and they'll be all over the net as scammers .
If they do turn up just shoot them in the forehead and tell the police they started it

Nobody will be trying to delivery anything.
As said abover the ultimate goal is to get you to make a payment for a missed delivery or hand over your bank details. The parcel doesn't exist.

Have you dealt with them or ordered anything before?
Yes , had Covid test kits purchased for holiday .
Returned the day 2 tests weeks ago .
Seem to be stuck in their automated e mail system and now apparently due to take delivery today for further kits .
Have cancelled my debit card so that I don't get billed for something I didn't ask for .

I get automated phone calls from siri telling me amazon are about to take 79 quid from my account and to press 1 to find out more.

Siri isn't even an amazon product. A really badly planned and excuted scam.

Just say no thanks and shut the door. They can't force you to take it and DPD have a 'refused delivery' button on their gizmos.
If they do hassle you then release the hounds.
