Akpom

Be interesting to see what happens when watmore is fit. Chuba has been excellent in this deeper role last two games. And watmore isn't gonna lead the line like Muniz/Forss so might find himself on bench and replacing CA later on.

Again, without this new found hindsight, rewind the forum back a few months and 95% of us (myself included) didn't rate Akpom.

Best player on the pitch this season by a mile, I'll admit I was wrong - but his record before these last 12 games, as a striker, was rubbish.

Very easy to say AFTER he's proven himself, when nobody was saying it before hand...

What was it that made you rate Akpom before these 12 games?
 
Too bothered to retrace my old posts from the beginning but when Akpom was getting “rubbished” on here as you say, I offered that he brought to the team skills and attributes which were much more than just scoring goals.
