All inclusive ideas

The 10 year old might fancy waterslides, but if not we're taking our three to an all inclusive Iberostar in Montenegro this year, and it's substantially cheaper than the equivalent in Spain or Portugal, while having fantastic reviews too. An amazing part of the world and you could visit Dubrovnik at the same time.

I’ve been to a few of the TUI Sensatori resorts and they’re great. There are the buffet restaurants, but the also have a number of normal restaurants on site - the one in Mexico had a standard buffet restaurant, then a Caribbean, a Mexican, an Italian, a fine dining place serving a tasting menu, and a bbq on the beach during the day if I remember rightly. Loads of choice, and really good quality food.

Where would be warm Feb half term?
Europe is looking a bit cool???
The southern half of the Iberian peninsula is usually warm and sunny(18-20ish, which is fine for me) during Feb half term, we're going to the Algarve. Outside of 'Europe' the Canaries (as suggested) and Middle East are your best options which are not too far away. Don't go to Italy/Croatia etc as these aren't warm in Feb.

Long haul opens up lots of options - it's the best month to visit Vietnam (I've already had a client book for 2025) and South Africa has longer sunny days (without the time difference) to give two examples, but if it's Feb half term presume you're limited to 9 days?

Best meal choices i have had were in mexico , playa del carmen , choices of 5 hotels ,all with fine dining ,steakhouse ,oriental , BBQ , mainstream generic stuff for quick & go .
Spot on country too ,great people , who don't push like hell for tips too like usa ...just make sure insurance cost a grand for 5 stiches for a slip !!!!

I’ve just had a look into this recommendation and the Iberostar Herceg Novi has a great location with some interesting day trip possibilities.

Love it. Thank you. Best recommendation so far 👍.

Keep them coming everyone. Getting excited for holiday 2024 now.

I was going to suggest Cancun as well. But with most of the hotels, you are quite limited to the hotel as far as food is concerned, unless you are at the town end of the hotel zone. Playa Del Carmen less so.
If I was going back I might be more tempted by Xpuha/Akumal/Tulum areas.

One on the west coast of Corfu is Domes Glyfada, if you can find the right package. Fantastic beach. Other local restaurants and places to visit (Pelekas, the water park, Corfu town...short bus ride).

Santa Maria Sal , Cape Verde
Medium haul with good selection of hotels fabulous beaches walkable in to the little town with plenty of bars and restaurants . Flights from Newcastle.

St James's Club & Villas by Elite, Antigua, Mamora Bay
Best I've been to but might be a bit over budget. Well worth it though.

I'd needto know the exact. dates to firm. up on these, but for around or under your budget, how about 10 day safari in South Africa, Egypt Movenpick Resort All inclusive, 7 day Med Cruise on family friendly cruise ship?

Suggestions needed for an All inclusive next year.

2 Adults and a 10 year old who loves the pools (not Hartlepool)
Not too fussed on Turkey
Maybe near a resort to enable us to go out for a few meals that aren't buffet style
Price - £1500 - £2000 pp
Any reason for all inclusive? Budget or just preference? Because you could get a nice holiday rental and eat out in town somewhere for that budget

IMO: kids can eat and drink their own body weight in soft drinks, ice creams and snacks. Not really cost effective when sending the kid to the bar or shop every time they’re peckish (bored) or thirsty .

Thanks! That's exactly where we are going - like the idea of getting to Herceg Novi on the boat and we have hired a car too. I'm also an independent travel agent and can likely get you a discount on a room there(particularly as I've booked myself), so do drop me a message if you decide that's for you!

Really useful, thanks.
Would swimming pools be cold in southern Spain that time of year? Or are they heated ? Although cold water swimming could be healthy!
What would Cyprus be like?

So my clear instructions from the wife and kids were to choose a place with an indoor pool!
(several good looking places were discounted for this reason)
Clearly a resort by resort question but generally an outdoor pool in Spain/Southern Europe would likely not to be heated.

Can't answer on Cyprus I'm afraid as not been in the winter
