It does add weight to the theory that Fati’s knee hasn’t properly recovered from the apparently ‘botched’ operation a couple of years back.

Teams around Europe looking at Brighton knowing they can get them in to a team that look to play good football. Barca might have an eye on their recent sales and think a year at Brighton will make them a lot of money at the end of a loan spell.

That's what I'm thinking. Their style suits a player who has come through Barca's youth system. If he has a good season there then he'll leave for a big transfer fee next season.
