1 drummer, 1 double bass, 1 trumpet player, 1 piano player..... start together..... all drift off in different time, tune.... and all end together after 6 minutes...... not for me .... can cope with Brubecks Take Five but thats about it....

I was in Bristol a few years back with a mate one Sunday dinnertime, and we found ourselves in a pub with a Trad quartet playing. Lots of singing along to Kenny Ball tunes...loved it!

That's trad jazz, the stuff I heard yesterdayI was in Bristol a few years back with a mate one Sunday dinnertime, and we found ourselves in a pub with a Trad quartet playing. Lots of singing along to Kenny Ball tunes...loved it!

To be fair Trad Jazz is not so bad it is the stuff where everything seems to be out of sync and feels like they are playing the wrong notes dunno if it is improvisation or what, but I can't get my head around itThat's trad jazz, the stuff I heard yesterday
