I went vegan last year and I'm loving the food and feeling more healthy.
Any other vegans here?
What you cooking??

yes, me too. Was veggie for a lot of years but now converted. Spend more time reading food labels and have to vigilant about snacking, especially crisps.7 years, always wish I'd done it sooner
Check out ‘The Happy Pear’. Numerous books and online stuff. Ideal if you are new to a vegan diet.Have been thinking about but struggle with the lack of choice. Any meal suggestions apart from burgers?
Yup. Vegan 4 years, veggie over 40. Cooking? Absolutely all sorts!!
Vegetarian 3 years. Took the vegan leap at the then of the year. Thought it would be hard, it hasn’t been and I feel much better for it.
That said, I do worry about vitamins/supplements a little. Does anyone have any good recommendations on that front?
Great call on the nutritional yeast. Added to risottos it gives that ‘cheesy’ consistency, and is also a great thickener for sauces and gravies. The go to appears to be B12 (which is a problem for most people vegan/veggie/or not)
Haven't taken any supplements - if your diet is right you will get enough.
My annual BUPA health check (which is pretty comprehensive) is always pretty good. Doctor's are genuinely surprised when they discuss my health relative my peer group.
B12 is in nutritional yeast, tempeh, soya milk and coconut milk which all feature regularly in our diets.
There is no doubt, however, B12 is easier to get in a non vegan diet
Licorice?Cooking? Absolutely all sorts!!
