Anyone Booked a Pub Yet ?

Bloke on Radio 5 live from pub federation (or something of that ilk) said he would be surprised if many places bother opening just for beer gardens, many dont have beer gardens and lots of those that do only have small ones and with unpredictable weather.

Looks like pretty much every pub with a beer garden near me is opening. I think it would be crazy not too. They'll be full

Booked in the Dickens on 1st May 12-7pm, 6 of us. Had to book online and pay a fiver deposit

I'm probably going to hold out until they are open properly. I'm not that fussed and weirdly been ok with no pubs (not attending football helps)

I've somehow lost half a stone in the last few months and it's got to be through not drinking. That said I'll soon come off the 'wagon' once things go back to normal.

I miss going out for a sit down Indian and a few cobras more. Hopefully that's happing soon 👍

l members club are not opening until indoor drinking is allowed. They just don;t see it being viable until then.

They have installed an air filtration system which I guess is one of the benefits of a not-for-profit club.

We do have anothe rlocal with a marquee set up, but not sure I will bother,

Yes in Manchester. It will probably be baltic by 9pm but will be nice to actually see some strangers out and about for a change.

Booked in at our favourite local (we're blessed with multiple good boozers here in the Steel City :)) for the first Saturday night.

I'm more intrigued as to how many restaurants will be opening outside only - doesn't seem to be many round here (largely inner city) which could accommodate outdoor diners. Local Camra have done a handy list of every pub in the city opening outdoor areas on 12th - equivalent for restaurants would be useful.

It's going to be difficult for out and out restaurants. You need to consider stock ordering, staffing, a menu to suit eating out doors, the weather, the temperature, what day of the week it is. You won't see many pure restaurants opening up untill May.

A few of us have realised we're not arsed. Much prefer to just get in the garden now. Cheaper booze, no signing in or checking in on apps etc, drink on tap rather than having to wait for someone to take an order/bring it to the table, and best of all, not surrounded by other peoples **** craic (only our own :p )
