Anyone on here been to Madrid?

Plaza Mayor, Puerta del Sol, Gran Vía, Retiro Park, Bernabeu, Palacio Real, Prado if you like art, explore all the little streets of the casco antiguo, try all the tapas. Depends what you like.
 
Fantastic party town. Party in a grown up sense. Don’t expect to get to bed before 4am.
On the subject of Madri (not sure if I’ve posted this before), according to my brewer friend Madrid is the old Carling Black Label recipe with a little bit of extra alcohol. And the suckers lap it up.
 
Lived in Madrid for 4 years (now in NYC), but it’s a fantastic city, especially if you like eating and drinking. Some great recco’s above but I would also call out going to the Malasaña area, Chueca, Mercado San Miguel, La Latinas and if you get a spare day head up to Segovia as well, it’s stunning.

Will bear this in mind for my next visit in Feb. Ta.
 
If you find a good fish restaurant, of which there are many, you have to try Bacalao al Pil Pil. It's cod and an absolute taste sensation.
 
Watch out for pickpockets one of the beggars put his lit cigarette on my collar then apologised by brushing my collar while his accomplice was after my wallet luckily they failed as i went into my kung fu pose along with the noises.
