Anyone Regularly Use The KLM 6am Flight to Amsterdam from Teesside Airport?

What sort of time would you recommend me to be there for the flight please? I normally try to be at an airport 2 and a half to 3 hours beforehand, but I have a feeling that'll be too early for this one?

I wouldn’t recommend it but ive arrived at Teesside airport 15-20min before my flight time and didn’t have a problem at all (all pre checked in online). 1 hour would be more than sufficient if you only have a carry on

Used to use this once a month for work, I honestly used to turn up 45 minutes before the flight was due to depart.

Teesside airport you can be out your car and at your gate in 5 minutes if you already have your ticket. There’s never a que in the airport and your straight through security due to the hi tech scanners

It was staffed at 4.45 this morning, zero queue though.

I reckon maybe 80% of passengers on that flight, or maybe more, go hand luggage only and check in online. Very few people go to the counter now i'd think.

International flights are only really 2-3 hours at large airports, and even then I push it to 1hr 15-30 if travelling alone. Regional airports, I've turned up 45 mins before but you need to know when check in closes for your flight.

My favourite airport to fly from is London City - you can turn up 20 mins before your flight in theory (I do 30) and don't need to mess around with liquids - they just stay in your bags

There was no liquids check at Teesside when we flew to Turkey in September.

Thanks for initiating this thread goalscrounger and to all those contributing. We’ll be heading to Europe via this flight next spring upon completion of our next visit to the Boro

1 hour 15 mins is enough .

100% enough even with luggage . I do this regularly and it’s the best airport for no queue. I normally arrive at 5.15 and I’m through security by 5.17 I kid you not . Almost never more than a few people in front . If you have luggage maybe add 10–15. 5am is more than enough unless you want to chill and have a drink etc. I prefer zzzzz time

Thanks for all the advice everyone. Got here at 4.45 am, parked at the terminal door, no queues for check-in or security and now having a coffee and a very nice bacon bun
