Anyone remember BiBi’s restaurant in the Boro ?

£3.40 for a chicken curry but £4.95 for a Porterhouse Steak???

You could get chicken curry and rice as a lunchtime special from a greasy spoon for cheaper than that now!
 
We used to flit between the Europa and Bibi's with the odd visit to the Rendezvous.. Europa parmo was a bit better for me but Bibi's Chicken Maryland was lovely. Happy memories after a night in the Madhouse.
 
Me and Mrs M used frequent quite a lot, usually for the lunch time specials.
Moussaka a la Greeque was our favourite.
Moussaka a la Greeque was delicious and chips were spot on, shame about the tinned carrots and peas that always came with it.
To this day if I make Moussaka we still have it with chips carrots and peas, although obviously not tinned.
 
Nice one, remember it seemed sophisticated at the time and seems cheap now but bearing in mind I was on 48 quid a week, not so.
Seemed to remember you could sneak in through there to get to the Madhouse from Billy Paul's to avoid Bouncers or have I got false memory?
 
One of the first places I had a parmo at and followed it up with a peach melba.

80p for a pint was OTT. What I would give to pay that now.
