Are you in favour of the latest deal with the EU ?

It's looking like B Johnson has agreed a deal with Brussels whereby the U.K. becomes the first non EU country to have access to the Single Market in exchange for us giving the EU a 5 and a half year transition deal on fishing and the EU only giving up 25% of it's fishing quotas to begin with.

Our Parliament will be recalled, probably to vote on this by 30 December.
Is this a good deal and the best that the UK could have done ?

I'm 100% certain it's not as good as the "deal" we used to have as full members.
And so on that basis the British people are worse off with less freedoms from 1st Jan and were officially misled (lied to) by a group of extreme nationalists with much more in common with Tommy Robinsons views than the average member of the public.
The UK is a much less pleasant place to live and less safe yet these extremists control the majority of the media narrative as well and consistently spread misinformation about the EU to influence the UK public
That’s your UK today and the foreseeable future under the Tories.

Absolutely this. People on here actually complain because I'm upset about this but I am. I loved my country and to see it destroyed like this is horrible

One of the many many things I don't understand about brexit is why are fish so important. Its such a minority industry in the UK? Or is it because we are about to regress to a third world backwater and industries like fishing will be more important once all the financial services and manufacturing jobs go?

I think Scotland and it’s possible desire to do its own thing is a big factor.

I'm unhappy with this deal because all its going to do is prolong the agony.

Brexiteers will hate it.

For me it's a deal that represents the government, half arsed not thought through and manages to divide the country further.

The race to the bottom is almost over.

What is the deal? If brexiteers will hate it and remainers hate the very idea of it, what is the point?

How do you know what the deal is? From what I can see it hasn't been revealed yet?

With this government, what's swirling round in the media is what the government are about to announce.

The details will obviously be key, but I doubt Boris Johnson even knows them, which will be the issue with the ERG and Remainers in the months to come.

I remain open to be surprised.

Why will it prolong the agony?
