Arsenal fans leaving early!!!

I really don't understand the mindset. Unless you have to go to work, even if it means getting home/pub half an hour later than you would with no crowd, surely you stay till the final whistle?
 
Happens at all clubs and always has. I remember getting a lift to the game when I was a kid and the bloke said it's time to go with 5 minutes left. It was 0-0 (and crap to be fair) and we missed two late Boro goals. I took the bus next time.

There were a lot leaving the Riverside early yesterday.
 
Strange end to match, Arsenal seemed to have settled for the draw until Utd scored only for VAR to cancel it and then scored twice so while I'd never leave early ic the result was in the balance, I can see why some people thought it was over
 
Never get the faux outrage and righteousness about people leaving early. You don’t know everyone’s circumstances. Perhaps they needed to be somewhere ? Or had to catch the last train???

I remember loads of messages before our Cardiff Carling Cup final about how quickly you get to the M4 and how soon you get home.

Not very quickly was my recollection. Took me about three hours to get to that tunnel on the M4 at Newport after the game!!

It took me 2 days and I missed my first day for a new job in a new career. It didn't go down well with the wife or Connexions.
