As it stands

Well itā€™s going to happen isnā€™t it, they will buy success just like Man City - theyā€™ve sold their soul to do it though, climbing into bed with those despots. Wouldnā€™t be my choice of owners, even if it did guarantee success - Gibson may have his faults but at least he hasnā€™t got a whole host of rather terrible skeletons in the closet like their owners
 
Wouldn't be so comfortable under such ownership at my own club, personally .. but it is going to pay off. Been a sleeping giant just waiting for that takeover to happen .. great for the North East to have a successful football team, that's attracting huge players, and getting top-six PL finishes which looks likely this season for them.

Howe is doing a brilliant job, though he was down their list of choices to take over, I think he is a great fit for this team. A joke to think I was hoping we would target Howe when we were looking to replace Warnock :ROFLMAO:

Not one of those who hates them as much as many Boro fans do, same goes for Sunderland, Leeds, etc .. though wish we were in the same league again playing at that level and beating them in local derbies, hope that day comes again in near future :ROFLMAO:

Almiron's 2nd goal for them today was sublime.

Great for the north east ? Great for Newcastle, but i donā€™t see how itā€™s great for Sunderland Middlesbrough or any other club in the area šŸ˜µā€šŸ’« the mackems will be seething about any Newcastle success
 
It's shocking to think a player of Kane's quality is probably going to finish his club career without any honours to his name.

He should have pushed harder for a move away in the past.
