Bamford Celebration

Lacked class was the nicest thing you could say about him. Would hate to think any Boro fan would post a positive Bamford thread in the future.Clearly a guy who thinks very little of the club that made him. I remember being hammered on here for describing him as a snake for joining Norwich after they beat us in the play offs. Still think he is a snake.
Muted celebration from him tonight after he'd scored but he celebrated as though he'd just scored the winning goal in the fa cup final when he scored against us at Elland Road a few seasons back, despite the fact we'd helped to revitalise his career following his nightmare stint at Burnley.

He was a good player for us but I have no love for him now and wouldn't have him back. Far too injury prone and a classless cheat.

Wouldn't want him back, his best years are behind him. Not bothered if he celebrated or not, don't get this not celebrating rubbish, never used to be a thing.

Although he had a good year in the prem I cant help think if we'd got promoted and he'd joined us permanently he'd have been our main man at the peak of his career and he'd have had a much better career possibly moving to a bigger prem team. All hypothetical but the Burnley and Norwich moves set him back massively.

His career never really went as far as it could. Won naff all, never played for a top team. Leeds reserve at 31 in the champs
I think the complete opposite, he’s career has gone a lot further than it should.
A club hero for 3 teams, he’s a top quality championship player.
Scored prem goals and got an England cap.

I've no issue with it. Infact I'm almost of the opposite opinion. I hate it when a player doesn't celebrate against a former team. Especially if you've played for them 5-20 games 10 years ago etc.

The only time it maybe doesn't wind me up if it's from a local lad who came through the academy etc. Someone like Ben Gibson for Norwich or Downing when at Villa.

I do love an angry celebration that a player does if his former club or fans have 'wronged him'. Emmanuel Adebayor against Arsenal is still one of my favourites of all time👌. Also Marlon King (remember him?) when he scored against Hull running up to Phil 'Sunbed' Brown after a spat they'd had.

I genuinely think more should celebrate.

I have always liked Patrick Bamford and supported him but though it showed a lack of class to celebrate the goal he scored. He was once a fan favourite for us really classless
I hate when players don't celebrate. I think it's disrespectful to the fans of their new club. I'd rather see former players acknowledge the Boro fans before and/or after the game.

Archer was a better player, for all those saying they would have Bamford back now. He's a snake, I would have booed him too if I was there
