Not to worry, lads: they'll both end another season without a trophy.
Let them have their own little "Cup Final" today and paint each other's clubs the colours of their big "rivals".........then it's back to another season of two average "North East" clubs.......

Didn't realise they were playing each other .
Thought they might have mentioned it on TV .
 
I was talking to a young lad at work who is a Sunderland fan and he loooked almost sick with worry about it when i mentioned the match. Such is the fear of losing he wasnt looking forward to it at all.
 
I'm actually looking forward to watching it. It's an interesting one. I've been loving the clowns going at each other on social media all week.

The only issue I've got is that I have no idea who I want to win. Unfortunately no chance of both losing.

I was thinking of going a Boro / Sunderland double. 26/1. So that may sway me towards blunderland.


I bet the police are praying that it's not a replay 😂
 
The only geordies with tix are those on the escorted special buses. Have heard that Sunlun county council are 'in' on an operation to setup road diversions as soon as those buses enter 4 miles from stadium. They are just gonna go round and round and sunlun fans not going to the game have been asked to get out in their cars and join the chaos. Its poss the game will be delayed 15 mins but at some point they will just have to start it 🤣

I know quite a few Newcastle fans who are also worried about losing. They are hoping for a replay at best, but I doubt that the police are.
My thoughts are that Sunderland will fall apart, will lose by more than two goals and the stadium will be quite empty by 70 mins.
