Being honest what do you expect tomorrow - v Fulham

A lot depends on the managers getting the tactics right, some teams have managed to nullify Fulham's threat and I am confident Wilder can do the same so I am going for a tight Boro win 1-0

Yes agree. Sheff UTD out played and more so out battled us. It was a very strange performance. Just didn't see it coming.

Barnsley was just a bizarre opening 20 mins. It was almost game over before it started. Yet we should still have got a point. Missed so many decent chances or made the wrong decisions in the final 3rd.

Sheff Utd wasn't a strange performance. It was the 6th away game in a row that we failed to win, and conceded the 1st goal. In all of those games we didn't start playing until being behind, way behind in some games. The only difference was that Sheff Utd were good enough that they stopped us ever getting going. Thankfully, we've had some huge improvements away from home since then so it must have been used as a bit of a wake up call.

Nice little test for Fry against Mitrovic

We know we’ll have to raise our game against Fulham but at the same time the newbies are coming on leaps and bounds. The difference between teams in the championship is minuscule and we are a much better team than the one that started the season. The difference between Premier League and Championship teams is HUGE and the way we took Man Utd & Spurs to task shows we can step up. Fulham are 100% they are promoted.. sporting glory aside I hope they know that and if anything want to raise their game at home. We can do this.. and what a statement of intent to the teams around us if we do. A psychological win tomorrow could see us win the playoffs.. at a push it could spur us on to win all our remaining games!

86 points anyone?

Yes, Fulham like to dominate and come out from the back, we need to play the high press just right. If we press high when the press isn't on, they will cut through us and use their top of the field quality to harm us.

If we get it right, we will force them to pump it long and despite Mitrovich being a beast, it really isn't their game for him to drop to 35 from goal and contest for the ball.

We just need to be very clever in when to press and when to drop, that's what will decide the game. I've no doubt that in possession we will cause them problems. Particularly with Jones down the right, Cordoba-Reid won't track back much, so we should get Jones 1-vs-1 against Bryant (or Robinson). I fancy him there. I quite like the match up of Connolly vs Tim Ream too. Good defender but you can turn him.

They are obviously the best team in the division. The SKY reporter at their game at QPR said Fulham were dominant and fully deserved 2-0 win. We did draw at Fulham on the opening day, but we were second best until the last 25 minutes, when Jones and Spence came on.

Fulham kept their Premier League side together in general and even strengthened buying Wilson.

Any point(s) against Fulham would be a good point(s) to me. Having said that I still think they are beatable if we play to our full potential.

I fancy us to win but it will be a tough game.

My biggest concern is how Fry will cope up against Mitrovic. It would be tempting to start Bamba, as I felt Lukaku bullied Fry, and fear Mitrovic could do the same. I know it's probably not the best idea to change your defence though and it could damage Frys' confidence.

Harry WIlson? Cordova-Reid? Carvalho? Kebano?

Isaiah Jones? Crooks? McGree? Tavernier? Bola?

Mitrovic has been outstanding all season.. Balogun and Connolly are still pretty new to the team add into that Josh Coburn and you have three strikers improving at an exponential rate! Very unpredictable!

I’m gonna stick my neck on the line and say Connolly is going to silence his doubters tomorrow!

3-0 BORO

Listening to Chris wilder on the radio saying that they are going to win this league at a canter and I agree with him, so it’s going to be tough tomorrow.

What are your hopes and expectations tomorrow.
I'd happily take a point now. A draw would be a good result imo

Mitro would eat Bamba alive!

Fry kept both Ronaldo & Kane quiet, and they're far more of a handful than Mitrovic.

Mitrovic is a hell of a striker for this division, but Fry is more than capable of holding his own against top strikers.

Bamba is a good backup, but nothing more than that.

I would be very worried if I saw Bamba in the first 11, at Fry's expense.

Harry WIlson? Cordova-Reid? Carvalho? Kebano? Those 4 players have got 32 goals between them, hardly a one man team
Agreed. Mitrovic has scored 37 goals. Take his goals out and they'd still be 4th top scorers in the league. They have conceded the fewest goals as well so they'd have the 2nd best goal difference.

They definitely aren't a one man team.

Take 37 goals out of our team and we'd have scored half as many as the lowest scorers in the league.

Nah you don’t drop your best defender against the best team in the league

At this stage of the season, fighting for promotion I expect us to give Fulham a very hard game.

Clearly they are the best in the league and if we weren`t so woeful (for whatever reason) before the turn of the New year we could well be saying this is a game to decide the Champions of the Championship.

We've beaten man utd at old trafford, tottenham at the riverside and we weren't out classed by Chelsea who changed their game plan against us

Fulham provide nothing to fear and i think we will beat them

Could be a cracking game. Fulham play attractive open football, Boro could thrive on that and will be full of confidence after the weekend. Could prove a great advert for this level of football. I can't see Boro winning but a draw wouldn't be a bad result for us

They are the outstanding team in the division. However, they have been beaten 6 times this season. That's not many by this division's standards, but they're not invincible.

If it ends in a draw, I'll not be too disappointed, but right now I'm approaching it as another match we should be planning to win.
