I was lucky enough to play a few games for boro reserves when Roberts was breaking in to the 1st team, when pears was injured and for cup games.
Robert was the keeper for the 3 games I played. I was centre half so spent a lot of time talking to / with him. He helped me loads in those games with his taking etc.
Really nice lad as well.

Unfortunately not.
Was going to sign for Darlington in the end but then I snapped my cruciate. Ended up at Billingham town for a few seasons and then just playing 'headers and volleys' with my mates on the field
