One of my fave artists, I saw him live about 7 years ago at Glastonbury when Corbyn came, the tent was full to the brim with about 1,000 people waiting outside. What's your fave Bragg song?

This is one of mine.

Levi Stubbs' Tears for me. Always loved the original then, more recently, heard The Redskins brilliant cover of it. As I've already added it on other threads I won't here, but it's definitely worth looking out for. And where the hell is X Moore when the world needs him?

I think his two most important songs are probably Between The Wars and Never Buy The Sun. There's loads I love, St Swithins Day, God's Footballer, Levi Stubbs Tears, A New England, loads. I also like a little song called Ontario Quebec and me. Live you can't beat what he does with Waiting For The Great Leap Forwards and stuff like Which Side Are You On, A13 Trunk Road to The Sea, Jeanne. Everyone should see him live at least once.

never been a massive bragg fan, mainly thru ignorance & lack of effort. was lucky enough to see him play a special set live in my favourite micropub (& afcb pre match pub) which was packed out with about 60 people - and loved it of course.

I’d like to be the third person to mention The Saturday Boy as it’s possibly my favourite song of all time. Tank Park Salute makes me think of my beloved Dad who died last year, embarrassed myself by crying in front of my teenage sons when it came on in the car the other day.

Must I paint you a picture is another great song. One of many.
The Milkman of human kindness-there’s another!

Cried every time I have seen him do TPS since my Dad died about 15 years ago. And many other times listening to it at home. Hopefully one of my funeral songs if my son thinks enough of me.😜
