Knowing that his own mob won't let him call a GE, is he lingering to get Labour to his bidding with a confidence vote in the house.

Conservatives get battered at the polls and Bunter sails off into the sunset having wreaked his final revenge on those who he still thinks betrayed him.

Plus he also still gets "the breaks" to use chequers for his big free bash. He's going to clear that wine cellar - with bit of luck he might drink himself to death.

You know for a fact that right now, he is still up to no good, because that's all he has ever been.

My guess is he'll impregnate some Tory minion. Not Dorries, someone younger and less mental.
 
I don’t think it’s anything that complicated. He’s still prime minister, even after 50plus resignations. In his mind he’s still PM, and that means he could still be. Anything could happen, he’ll be scheaming and hoping to remain
 
A mate was walking through Horseguards Parade about 15 mins ago and he could see through to the gardens of the Scottish Office next to No 10. With his zoom camera (he's a pro photographer) he spotted the Cabinet having a full on champagne party with Mad Nad and the Victorian pencil in full swigging form. His mob can't stop him calling an election. It's one of the things a PM has the power to decide. Labour calling a no confidence vote wouldn't cause an election because the Tories would just put sometime else in as leader and their majority would see them command the confidence of the house.

But the monarch can, in theory at least. He can only get a dissolution of Parliament if there is no viable chance of his party being able to form another government but seeing that they have a large majority they can still easily form a new government so a dissolution could be refused.
 
the gift of another lie uncovered and besides he's been promised he can have his wedding party at Chequers, absurd to allow someone you don't trust to to milk the system and feather his own nest to the max for a few more months

So why hasn't he done it? What's stopping him using an election to stop the press and to try an con the electorate once more.

Someone has his number imo. There's someone lurking ready to bury him if he does. Games still being played imo.
