Booing National Anthem ( South Stand)

I didn't mention it being a fundamental right. The right of people to vape or smoke whilst in the open air is a right that the club have chosen to take away.

I visit lots of grounds throughout the season and move away from people if I'm uncomfortable with the smoke/vape cloud.

Their right to do either is still permitted in many grounds in the country.

Why is the person a d*ck because they vape?
A facility is not a "right". Yes you can go watch non-league football and roam around pretty much at will. This is not a "right" it is something that you can do because of the environment and (significantly) the number of people around you. You do not have a "right" to vape any where.

As others have pointed out vaping is banned in the EFL. The person is a d*ck because (as I stated previously) he/she "can't put his toy town cigarette away for two hours". In an all seated environment you shouldn't have to be told not to do something that can affect the comfort and/or health of others. You can't vape in restaurants, pubs, cinemas, etc. the rules are clear.

Don't be a d*ck and do without for a couple of hours.

Yeah, I actually think the British monarchy's problem isn't quite so much that they exist, its the fact that we still treat them in a way that suggests they are somehow better and/or more deserving, and they seem completely up for that reverance themselves. I'd be all for a bicycle monarchy as the next step, if people really do want to keep them. If Charles had become King and said 'look, maybe this is the time to stop all this bowing and curtsying nonsense, I'm just one of you even if they call me King' I really think that would help preserve the monarchy and give it a more modern feel that a huge proportion of the population would buy into.

But its like they don't see any point in existing unless they're having their boots licked by the entire population, hence why they have the best PR team on the planet preserving their unshakeable/sacred status.

Yep. I don't know how popular or otherwise the other monarchies in Europe are, but can't imagine they're anything like as divisive being much more low key.

Part of the problem of course isn't just the royals themselves, but the whole establishment behind them. Even if say, William becomes King and said "look all this feudal ceremonial nonsense needs to go" I can't imagine the CoE, "the palace" and all the other hangers on would take it lying down. Too many vested interests who need the system to remain as it is to justify their own existence.

In other countries certainly European ones, they are much less well paid, are subject to more laws, have less access to government ministers, civil servants and sensitive information and of course have much less power, influence and wealth than ours.
