Exactly this. Listen to what he said today. He never said he has resigned, he just said that he will. He’s going to go full throttle on Ukraine in the next few weeks in the hope of getting some form of credibility.
There is no constitutional way for him to stay in post. That is not to say he won't do something unconstitutional or illegal to stay. After all, he is a criminal who illegally prorogued Parliament the moment he got in. Add the pathological lying and megalomania and anything might happen. Declare the leadership polls fraudulent, martial law, declare war on Russia, abolish the monarchy and declare a national emergency? Who knows what this scum-bag will stoop to?

He’s no intention of seeing the queen until autumn, apart from the weekly PM briefings, think about that.

If he tries to stay his party will almost certainly change their rules to allow another confidence vote which he would definitely lose. Failing that Labour will call a no confidence vote in the government, which would fail but then we would go through what happened yesterday and today. Multiple resignations and paralysis until the Tories do bin him, which they will because they will lose voters by the millions if they don't.
There's no constitution. This government have shown that.
