The possibility of Johnson becoming PM again soothing the markets...
Surprise surprise the utter weasel that is Simon Clarke has come out backing Boris.
I’d say so, yes.So is it going to be Boris?
No shame have they?So is it going to be Boris?
Ben Houchen and Simon Clarke now backing BoJo
Yes. It is possible for 3 members to get 100 votes as well but only the top 2 go through. If two candidates get 100 mps to back them does it then go to a members vote?
Of course they are. Its the only way they think they can cling on to the gravy trainSo is it going to be Boris?

The UK must be mentally ill.
Seriously.
Each voter should have to undergo some kind of test.
Laughing stock of the world.
Johnson to get the destruction of the UK economy done.Markets on the slide again FFS. UK gilts increase no doubt reacting to the prospect of the swivelled eyed loons electing Johnson to return.
Einstein said that to do the same thing again, and expect a different outcome, is the definition of madnessYes because all of those Tory MPs who forced out their liar-in-chief regularly read and are influenced by a Boro message board. I hope you're proud of yourself, defending a lifelong conman.
....and yes, that was a bite. Bu99ger.
Funnily enough I'm not too fussed about him being PM again becuase it'll all fall apart again very quickly and this time it would require a GE IMHO. I think Sunak or even Mordaunt could perhaps limp the Tories to 2024 but Johnson wouldn't see 6 months IMHO.
100,000 votes?I expect Sunak would win
But if it’s who gets over 100,000 votes it’s going to be BoJo V Rishi
And members will probably vote Boris, but who knows

Not sure they can engineer it without the Johnson lobby calling foul - more infighting, squabbles, resignations probably. They wanted a unity candidate and with Johnson they are going to get the polar opposite. Johnson has been the architect of all the ills that have befallen the Party recently. It was he who ushered in the totally useless Truss, it was he who fell out with half the party and it was he that the cabinet collapsed over very rapidly just 3 months ago. Cummins will be rubbing his hands again in delight as he becomes relevant again. It’s going to take some pretty clever manipulation behind the scenes if Boris gets to 100 to make sure Rishi and Mordaunt both beat him so it doesn’t go to the members.
