Boris to step down as an MP

The man is an entitled charlatan who has blagged his way through life as a result of privilege.

To anyone in Teesside who voted Tory led by him you were had. He didn’t give a **** and never did. It’s just a shame more couldn’t see what was always there.
Like these idiots at Wilton Engineering. Hands up if you were there.

BBC are adamant on reminding viewers at every given opportunity that Johnson’s time is over… ‘for now’ or ‘the time being’ as if he will easily stroll back in whenever he wants to.

Aw man. I go out for a few hours and miss the corrupt slug running away. No doubt he has a safe seat lined up to parachute into. Just heard his self-pitying, bitter, tin-hat conspiratorial statement. What a pathetic worm. 'twer better the slug had died of covid. Utter filth.

A rather obvious point being hammered home.. again..but with absolutely no desire to play the whataboutery card, do FMTTM'ers really believe SKS and crew will give any more of a **** about our special little corner of the North East than the current shower? Just don't see it myself. I sadly think we are burdened with a plethora of poor and limited options right now.

So would you rather carry on as we are? This is nothing to do with Starmer or the Labour party.

They’ll give more of a crap about education and healthcare, that’ll impact local people.

You did desire to play the whataboutery card by the way, it’s exactly what you did.

Johnson's statement absolutely demonstrates why he should have never been anywhere near government or high political office and why this should be the end of his career in politics.

It's never his fault is it ? There's always someone else to blame, a misunderstanding, a conspiracy, bad advice etc etc, any leader or person with responsibility cannot expect people to do as they say when their actions contradict their message.

He knew fine well that he was lying to Parliament, he knew fine well he wasn't following the guidelines he laid down for others, the alternative is that if he genuinely didn't then his judgements are so flawed and decision making so poor that in itself should be enough to demonstrate an inability to represent others.

His next action will be to snipe from the sidelines at Sunak to make sure the GE result is as bad as possible in the hope that in desperation they return him to lead the Party.

As for SKS, he's far from perfect and not ideal but he's a better option than Sunak and co, you're in a pub with 3 cubicles, one is blocked and overflowing, one has no toilet paper, no seat and no lock on the door, the final choice is a functioning toilet that locks with toilet paper, you'd be mad not to chose the functioning toilet, that's the current state of British politics.

It’s not always about the party you vote for doing better for you or for the part of the country you live in… it’s about them trying to do the best for everyone universally and as a United country… the current lot target issues to win votes to hang on to power while really only doing what benefits their chums and ilk…

I’m under no illusion that SKS is a socialist saviour but he’s infinitely better than the current chaos government we have now…
They’ve pitched from one disaster to the next at a time when they could have made a real difference to how this country is seen globally… instead wee almost a laughing stock…

And I don't know what is worse - his resignation letter "boo boo it was somebody else's fault" or his fan girls/boys absolutely defending him to the hilt.

It's straight out of the Trump/Bannon/GOP playbook where you are caught red handed and instead of taking your punishment you lash out and start flinging as mush sh*t as possible, sewing the lies of deceit so that now tiny little seeds of doubt start to creep in.......

Have the fan boys/girls defend you using the same tactics. Have the RWM do the same. Now, the seed is there......he's been "forced out" by a "kangaroo court". It's a "witch hunt". Bozo has done nothing wrong, ever, and it's a personal vendetta against him. But the seeds are there now .....

And Sunak being weak as p*ss is just sat there checking his offshore accounts, bricking it that he can't control the next step in the Tory Party civil war.

Meanwhile.......there is a country to run.......🙄

The Big Top Burns Down

The circus is on fire,
the tent’s starting to sway,
the ringmaster’s wearing clown’s shoes
as he tries to run away.

He sports a tattered label,
‘The Biggest Show Liar In Town’,
as he waddles away from the flames,
bulging pockets weighing him down.

Freshwater buckets lie buckled in sawdust,
reeking like the drains,
the big cats are looking angry,
straining at their chains.

The audience’s sense of humour
lies dead, choked in the smog.
They wanted Churchill the leader
but got Churchill the dog.

But the exit doors are bolted
as the fireball starts to spin;
having locked incomers out,
they’d also locked themselves in.
