boro game not on sky

I did think it was a bit of an odd choice.

Sunderland could win 28-0 and still not make the play-offs.

We've been on a lot recently so I can understand it. I would have preferred one of our previous games not to be televised though.

They've basically just got all the teams who can make the play offs, Millwall v Blackburn is a given because they can both make it, then Sunderland & West Brom have the biggest fan bases. Pretty logical really, if a little unfair

Coventry are the most likely of all 5 teams to make the play-offs, they're the only one not being covered.

So not sure you can say it's logical.

West Brom likely need 3 results to go their way and to win to make the play-offs.

If Millwall win, West Brom can't catch them
If Coventry draw, West Brom can't catch them, even if Coventry lose, West Brom would need a 5 goal swing.
If Sunderland win, West Brom won't overtake them.

Meanwhile, Coventry need a point to secure a play-off spot and have very similar support to West Brom.

Tbf baring a bit of an unlucky sequence of results Coventry are basically there.

We beat them, Millwall win and Sunderland win.

I don't think it's that unlikely.

We've got comfortably the best home form of any team outside of the top 2.

Millwall are strong at home and Blackburn have the 19th worst away form in the league.

Sunderland have the 4th best away form in the league.

I can see Sunderland winning. Preston nothing to play for, manager with a touchline suspension and the mackems - as said previously - have good away form.

Be good to see them win but still miss out, hopefully really really controversially.
