There would be far fewer season tickets sold if that was policed. I know plenty that do it.That's completely against the terms and conditions of your season ticket and you shouldn't be doing it anyway?

There needs to be! We probably miss over 1/3 of the games due to holidays, but they are always taken by friends and family (unlike under Pulis, when we couldnāt shift them).Apparently thereās a facility to share tickets.
Would it cut down on concession abuse? If the club prohibited me from letting my dad/mam use my ticket on weekends I canāt make it (given I live 120 miles away, which isnāt even that far compared to some fans) then Iām sure me (and plenty of others) wouldnāt buy one in the future.
This will not be the agenda. Many clubs actually allow you to sell your tickets on stubhub etc when you canāt make it, and thatās all QR code based. My uncle does it at Spurs and a colleague does it at Chelsea.
Yes, but it would severely impact the number of buyers in general I suspect.Would it cut down on concession abuse?
Arsenal do it tooI'm aware that Man Utd/Leeds have a similar system now, where you need to become a member to actually get the ticket.
This costs money iirc Ā£30 for a season, where you don't get anything other than the ability to attend matches. I hope we don't end up going down this route, otherwise it could seriously affect walk ups.
But everything should just save to Apple wallet which takes seconds to access. Canāt see how using cash, accessing cards etc wonāt slow things downIt's the same in the supermarket queue, it's quicker for people to find their reward card than scroll through their phone.
Absolutely the way forward. There will be the usual old duffer whingers, who whinge at any type of change regardless!
You wonāt need Wi-Fi or mobile network to access the ticket at the stadium, same as cards on phonesLuckily the wifi and 4G/5G networks never freeze on a matchday
But do you really think that is the position that the club will take?!? Not a chance! They will actively encourage those to participate but won't ban paying customers who don't engage.Yeah, I can't imagine why somebody who doesn't have a smartphone might be a bit upset about being prevented from using their season card from next year.
Truly a mystery.

I believe they have been upgraded this summer at considerable cost.Luckily the wifi and 4G/5G networks never freeze on a matchday
