Boro Shop Question Thread Explained

There was a great deal of disquiet regarding the Boro shop particularly over Xmas Time, with people concerned with stock levels of replica shirts etc. Now that the busy season is well and truly over I have asked the shop management if they would answer your questions.
Am hoping people will just post the one question - for now anyway, thus giving a lot more people a chance to ask something.
If the thread is slow then we might revisit that one question rule. But if you want to comment about the thread, the shop etc etc please post on this thread instead and keep that one clear for the questions.
Am due to go to Boro on Wednesday afternoon.
 
If anyone has those screenshots from before Christmas that showed all the items of stock unavailable then please do post them.
 
Might be a good idea to pin the thread to the top of the forum (and maybe lose the Xmas subscription thread)?

Oh yeah I must lose that Xmas Subscription thread in any case - because I forgot to take into account the last postal rise and was actually losing money on it.
I might leave it til the end of the afternoon - just because sometimes people don't immediately see changes in the sticky threads. You know they
 
I will probably start off by asking Jo-Ann to quickly talk through the process from design selection to production to shop floor of a new Boro replica strip. I think that will be of interesting to hear how long it takes etc and whether there are differences between Errea and the other manufacturers we have had.
By the way, I hope someone will ask about Hummel and Adidas - if you had a preference. It would be good to hear about the pluses and minuses of the different manufacturers wouldn't it?
 
I was told that they were the only ones in the shop

I was heading over to the us for thanksgiving and I wanted one before I left for friend over there when asked when they’d get some more they said they couldn’t give me a date.
 
Can we the club produce shirts without sponsor's similar to the children’s range? I feel it would be more inclusive of people who have been effected by gambling in the past.

Wasn't a big fan of the addidas ones. Stock template with a Boro badge on. About 15 other clubs with the same template.

@fmttmadmin can you ask about possibly getting scarfs? There was a big push for scarfs for the Chelsea game and there's been people pushing to make it a thing for every home game. The choice in the club shop was a rainbow scarf or a tartan scarf. Quite ridiculous that IMO.
 
How many replica shirts have they sold over the last 4 seasons vs what we have bought? (broken down by season).

The MFC own brand stock , is that managed internally or do we out source product design and manufacturing?

Couldn't get anything in the home range for my 9 yr old - nana and grandad got an away shirt for him in November. But couldn't get away shorts and socks. Was told by the staff in the shop just after Xmas they weren't getting any more stock in. Unless you are fortunate to be able to get hold of the kit in August, it seems you are a little bit bolloxed for the rest of the season☹️☹️

Everyone to their own, but I would rather be comfortable in a stock template shirt that fits properly than the heap of 💩 that Errea produce.
 
If you haven't posted a question on the actual Boro Shop questions thread then please do.
That is where we will be taking all questions from to answer.

Tartan Scarf? I can only assume left over from the Strachan spell 😂

Jokes aside we've had a poor scalf selection for a while. I'm not sure if it's because they simply don't make enough money from them?

I've bought my last 2 off ebay. Second hand and original retro. You see some great ones from the past every now and again.
