Nottingham Forest will be looking to keep up their good form when Middlesbrough visit The City Ground on Wednesday night (kick-off 7pm).
The Reds have won their last two outings on Trentside, taking their unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions and they will be looking to extend that against Neil Warnock's side.
Boro find themselves in and around the play-off picture and will be looking for a positive result themselves to enhance their top-six credentials.
Team news
Chris Hughton could name an unchanged line-up after their impressive performance against Millwall on the weekend. Alex Mighten and Scott McKenna both came into the starting line-up and impressed, while there are plenty of options available should Hughton wish to make changes.Luke Freeman is back in full training and is getting closer to being involved, with Fouad Bachirou also joining in full training. Jack Colback and Harry Arter remain sidelined through injury.
From the opposition
Middlesbrough manager Neil Warnock is hoping that Duncan Watmore and Britt Assombalonga can both make more of an impact on the game against The Reds than they did against Birmingham, with the pair overcoming COVID-19.He said: “They should be okay – they’ve both definitely looked a lot better.
"I couldn’t have played them. I wanted to play Britt because I thought he was outstanding at Birmingham, but I couldn’t have played him looking at him on Friday. I never thought he’d even be on the bench.
"He was a lot brighter yesterday though, and said he felt a lot better. So did Duncan, so I’ve no problems at all with those two now. They’ll be in my thoughts from the start now.”
