Boro's results against the current bottom 3...

It is a pretty ballsy yet clever move by Carrick and the rest of the clubs staff. We lose against teams below us and play well against the teams above us in the league. By deliberately engineering us away from the play-offs and nearer to the relegation places it gives us a lot fewer teams below us and a greater choice of teams above us to beat.

We do the same most seasons, don't we? Rotherham... MK Dons... Burton Albion... the list goes on :eek:
