Jeez. Not very empathetic. I presume you're familiar with the rates of depression, anxiety and suicide attempts for trans and non binary people? Surprised you wouldn't be a bit more supportive after seeing the threads from times you've struggled.

Opinions are opinions mate.

All performers seek attention and I don’t find the pronoun thing a big deal tbh

‘Normality’ - where to start? no idea what you consider to be ‘normal’ - life would be pretty boring if everyone was the same. I wouldn’t expect a performer to be ‘normal’ or boring.

I’m guessing you’ve been through the mixer a fair bit with coming to terms with your sexuality and looking to be accepted.. but that’s not Sam Smith’s fault (pretty boring name like) don’t fancy seeing pop start or rock stars square dancing in bootcut jeans and black crocs with Wilson socks.. I can just stay at home and look down for that.

And FYI I’ve tried several times to take my life - I tried to Jump in front of a train on July 2nd last year and had to be rescued by paramedics so I don’t need to see links about depression or suicide in the gay community thank you very much.

Yeah I'm aware of that. As I said I've seen your posts before and know that people have shown you a lot of care and support in the past.

Imagine someone had replied to you in those days saying things like get back in the closet or attention seeker. I'm glad they didn't and I just thought maybe upon reflection you might agree it's not the most charitable thing to say.

I’ve met Sam Smith a few times early in his career when he worked in the City of London behind a bar. ( The Spectator in Little Britain) I found him a really nice bloke. Hes had documented mental health issues I don’t really care what he wears or how he chooses to look or be called. He never does anybody any harm.

Well looks like it’s going to plan lads. This kind of debate/argument is going all over. It’s made all the noise they hoped it would. Bowie wore a similar rig in 1972, nothing changes.

Pardon my ignorance but I can't see how Sam Smith's choice of clothes affects any of that.
