Britt swap?

Have thought this could happen as both players out of contract in summer.
Could be a bit of an issue as both clubs challenging for top 6.
Fantastic to have a chance to 'try before you buy' rather than spending big bucks on misfiring players

No try before you buy .
Straight swap , with both signing a contract with the respective clubs , is my assumption .
We get Diedhiou on a 2.5 year deal , they get Britt on similar .
It will depend if the players are happy to do the swap , or will Britt fancy AFCB instead ? Either way , something will happen .

I don't really know that much about the Bristol lad, but I definitely wouldn't offer Assombolonga a new contract.
A loan swap to season end would be more than good as far as I'm concerned, as I wouldn't play Assombolonga again anyway.
Signing Diedhiou on a free and a 2.5 year contract seems good business, either now as part of an immediate swap, or in the summer; I guess we could lose out to another club in the summer.

If Bournemouth pay a fee for Assombolonga on monday that would still be good for me versus just keeping him in our squad, even if we lose out on Diedhiou just now.

I’ve been advocating this swap for a few days but it was more a pipe dream than anything else. If we pull this off I will be buzzing. Bolasie, Diedhiou and Watmore up top, not bad at all.

This swap sounds way too good to be true can't see it myself. Bristol swapping their inform striker for our Britt.

I always thought Teamtalk was usually a little more reliable whenever stories appeared up on there, so hoping there is some truth in it .. though I would be surprised. From what I've read about this guy I wouldn't expect that we'd get him in a straight swap deal with Britt ..

Could explain why Britt wasn't involved today though named in the squad .. wonder if anything happens within the next 24 hours or so .. I'm gonna guess not, but this guy, Bolasie, and Fisher coming in would be more than I expected to happen this window.

Quite encouraged by our position in the table still too, considering. Thought Norwich would find it easy against us today, hope we get a run of wins on the go again now.

Diedhiou played full game for BC today

BURNLEY’S back-up hitman Matej Vydra is wanted by promotion hopefuls Watford and Bournemouth.

The Czech Republic striker is struggling for a game under Sean Dyche but the Championship Hornets and Cherries have made approaches.

Vydra, 28, fired Watford to promotion in 2015 and they are keen to bring him back on loan with a view to a full-time deal if they go up.

Bournemouth want a similar transfer as they look for more goals to make a quick return to the top level.

In their case they would have to move Josh King first.

Burnley would sell Vydra for the right price and have turned down various swap suggestions from both parties as they plan to sign their own targets.

However, Vydra as a buy and on good wages is a big gamble for Watford and Bournemouth who will have major cutbacks if they stay down.

The Hornets plan to bounce back at the first attempt, while Bournemouth will lose some big earners in the summer when deals expire.

He did and went missing for whole game. We kept him quiet. Still good player on his days.

Pretty sure that BC want more than £2m for him but seems very relaxed now sounds like he's staying with them to end of the season. They might revisit the situation with contract offer or he walk to other team for free.
