Camilla to be Queen Camilla

I wonder why the old Queen Mother (Liz's Ma) was never called such? I would have thought "King's Mother" or "Queen Mother" (except of course biologically she isn't I suppose, maybe that's why?)

I retain the fond hope that daft Chuck will do something to make the country wake up to the ridiculous institution and how damaging it is to the people of the country and to the people inside the institution (Harry being a good example of the damage it does to those imprisoned within its gilded walls)

I assume that being the current King/Queen's Mother ranks above being the former King's wife.

For years I felt a real outlier in my view of the royals and how corrupt, shameless and harmful they are to this country. But this thread gives me hope the tide is turning and the people will stop bowing and scraping to the aristocracy.
