Can the English public deliver a May massacre on Tory scum ?

"They are all the same " will be trotted out by the tory apologists, the brexit cultists will blindly back him and then there's the shy tories.
They will lose seats but nothing like the scale they should
Totally agree. In by-election results I've seen Labour are not doing well at all.
I hope I'm wrong , but whataboutery, those who've been obsessed by Brexit (who'd never heard of it 7 years ago) , shy Tories and those saying 'don't know' in polls who are never going to vote anything left by of Tory make me think they'll do much less badly than expected

I love all this Tory haters but people fail to nominate a replacement.

Personally I sit on the fence and will say it again, they are all in the trough. Give it a few more years and and a new PM who will change the décor of No 10 which may not be at their expense, have a second and third home while the Country suffers. They will make mistakes that rile the whole country and we are back to where we are now. I am of that age where I have seen the good and bad and very bad PM's from both major parties but whatever they do, someone will be baying for blood.
You need to wake the **** up to what's happening.

This attitude is exactly how these criminals will cling to power. This attitude is making me angry now. The ideology of this government is driving people into poverty and making this country an isolated laughing stock. The longer it goes on, the longer the government acts as if they're completely unaccountable to the public or for their actions becomes accepted as normal. It is far from normal. It's a dangerous road.

People like you are enabling it. You should be angry, everyone should be angry. Not apathetic. Apathetic voters are a Tory wet dream.

It's people who've bought that line of "no credible alternative" (perpetuated by the Tories) like you who can't nominate a replacement better than Boris. Anyone else knows the answer is pretty much anyone other than Johnson or his cabal.

A man has just been convicted for murdering an MP (Tory) who was apparently a man committed to trying to help his constituents and he died fulfilling that role.

The title of this thread is awful.

Here you go

Go Fund Me page to pay for Johnson and Sunak's FPNs

By-election's are not a great yard stick for deciding who's doing well (either MP or council) as they are usually very situational and have far lower turnout, especially council with around 500-1000 votes causing huge swings.

Pollsters are changing their methodology around "don't knows" and weighing them towards the Tories. Overall Labour are in a fairly good place going into the council elections in their traditional areas, but the Lib Dems and Greens will also do well in other "Blue Wall" areas.

The May Elections will see the Tories suffer huge losses to all three.

I hope you are right 👍

We continue to insult our own supporters by telling them they are in a cult, that Starmer made a phone call in some office years ago that stopped Corbyn winning, we will argue if we are too right or left, we will tell people their vote should be ignored, it seems to me most on here actually don't want us to win.

This site is brilliant at is insulting Labour voters, for whatever reason I didn't know but there is no insult that has not been used against them. The one that gets me the most is the metropolitan elite telling them they know better.

It reminds me of an Oxford college debate on how to make sure Labour never win.

This is great example of how political parties and politicians are not the same, when a Labour MP has committed a crime, they've not been defended or excused, they've been expelled from the Party and advised to step down from their seat, and whilst I agree corruption and wrongdoing will be present on both sides of the political divide the way it is dealt with by one party is completely different from how it is dealt with by the other.

Yes he lazily reproduced an article from a Daily Express on line journo (probably an intern) who thought it good sport to list every Labour MP who had in his life committed a illegal offence in the past 20 years. . Every one of those had either retained or expelled from the party. It has no relevance to the argument as to why Johnson should stay or go or indeed no proof of his tenuous argument that “all politicians are the same“.
