Can Wolves recall Giles?

In theory yes, but they have no need to. Two players ahead of him at LB so it makes no sense unless they get an injury

Yep. Getting plenty of game time in his preferred position. Barring a sudden injury crisis can't see what the point would be.

I'd love to sign him permanently. Not sure what I'd value him at though. Assist machine, but deficiencies defensively. Championship Trent AA. £3-4m?

anything under £5m I'd be tempted given his age, quality of delivery and the fact he's looking quite settled and integreted. Probably struggle if we go up though.
 
They are well stocked in that position, think we will be fine. If anything, I think we will sign him permanently either in January or in the summer.
 
I imagine they had a clause if he wasn't getting game time or if struck by injuries. I can see no reason why they'd get him back.

He had 2 loans last season. I'm not sure why he changed clubs?

I wouldn't be suprised if we have tested the water about a perm with both player and club. Although I've absolutely no idea what he's worth.

I imagine anything north of 3-4mil would be out of our price range.
 
Wolves recalled him from Cardiff, saying they were adding him to their squad but then changed their mind and loaned him to blackburn on deadline day. Bet Cardiff were fuming.
 
The best thing we could do this window would be signing Giles on a permanent deal. He seems a great lad, good attitude, fantastic left foot, good age. He ticks all the boxes for what we are trying to build here.
 
Wolves might play this canny. If they get relegated and have to cut costs in the squad with players leaving, they would have an 'oven ready' left sided def/winger.
