I actually don’t care. I like Carrick and he showed what he’s capable of last season but the club is a basket case and Gibson won’t back him.

I continue to struggle to think of a season where we have been turned over at home by so many bang average through to utterly rank bad sides. Even given the injuries, its been woeful. Carrick has a lot of credit in the bank with most of us because of the football we played last year - but dear me, how we have fallen.

We’ve had massive injury problems and no striker, I really wouldn’t be blaming the manager right now
Don't forget recruitment and being a given substandard players. Injuries are a smokescreen for the lack of quality behind the first 11

I disagree, he has to take blame in the same way as barlaser, obrien, engel etc get slated, he sends the team out with a game plan which clearly isn't working, injuries are part of the game, which all managers have to deal with.

Our inability to defend properly or defend set pieces or even attempt to score a set piece is on the manager and his coaching staff!

Stoke are in the bottom 3 If we lose to Stoke next week they will be 6 points behind us.
Getting to the playoffs last season has given a lot of goodwill to Carrick, this is garbage and he won't get much time next season if its the same.

Howey Paul, you are never going to get a club like Boro interested in you.

There might be some national league sides interested in your neolithic football?

All the very best, you have my warmest regards.
You could be right, he might not be interested in a mid table team who are not interested in promotion

I don't want him sacking .. but I wouldn't be bothered if he was ..

He needs to start learning quick .. every team in the league has worked out how to defend against the slow, laborious, sideways football we play at home .. yet we keep on doing the same thing over and over again and expect different results. That leads to insanity.

I wouldn't sack him, but I'm certainly of the opinion that if we had a time machine and could go back 18 months id take Rob Edwards over him. At the time I was massively pro Carrick.

have to blame him for whats happening now
hes trying to be far to clever
playing our one fit strike on the right wing meanwhile everyone else has a go through the middle
error prone goalie chosen over the clear number 1
we've been exploited for the same defensive deficiencies all season

Without that win last week relegation might have been a possibility. Thankfully most of those below us are even worse than we are

I'm not in the Carrick out brigade but I wish he was more honest in his interviews. Post match he said he takes full responsibility but you can't keep protecting the players like he does. Where is it getting him? Home game after home game we are getting these pitiful performances and nothing changes. If Carrick doesn't come out and say it I would love one of the senior pros to do it. Come out and be brutally honest about effort, commitment, passion or whatever you want to call it, the players need to shoulder some responsibility for these gutless performances. How the hell can you perform like that at Leicester then be so bloody awful today?
What we are seeing today, in my opinion, is a little glimpse into the future because that ground was emptying from half time and their is a real despondency in the crowd at the moment.
What incentive is their to renew with what is happening right now? It's a difficult sell
