Went for lunch a couple of weeks ago. Thought it was great value. Interior still in good nick. Nice place for a meal

I live round the corner and it is still as busy and lively as ever.
Always a good atmosphere and if the standards had declined it would be struggling now in these times.

The food pretty good still. My only reservation about it, is going at busy times, they squash too many people in and it feels over crowded

I go about once a year and always get the parmo. It's quite good.
Mate of mine used to work there, a lot of the dishes are pre-prepared and zinged in the microwave but the specials, pizzas and parmo are all fresh.

Might be different now, this was about 10 years ago.

I'm the same.. there's always someone who hasn't had a parmo.. i reckon Central Park is the number one for first time parmo's
I get takeaway parmos from Cenny P. Miles better than the crap the takeaways serve up

Living down south, when I go back home a parmo is usually near the top of my list, just above visiting my family.

Foxcovet do a decent one as does central park.

Last one I had was at the bluebell in Yarm, very average.

Live nearby and been quite a few times over the years, foods normally great but always felt rushed like they couldn't wait to get you out and the next booking in.

They now whack a service charge on to your bill (there is a sign as you go in)

I suppose you could ask for it to be removed, i guess its just a guaranteed tip for the staff (cough cough)

I don’t mind Central Park. Not my restaurant of choice as I prefer to get something other than a Parmo when I go out. But if I end up there for a meal or gathering etc. I always get the Parmo.

Share the comments about weekends in there too. It does get a bit cramped.

My restaurants of choice in Boro are Fellini’s or The Copperstone (Thai).

I love seafood and Fellini’s always have a good selection and some decent specials - although I usually just cave and get the lobster pasta.
