Certainly deserved a point

He badly lost his man. I don't think he was awful, but the goal was his fault. He would put his hand up I'm sure.

Clayton who didn't play for Warnock. Ayala who didn't play for Warnock. Friend and Roberts. 2 new players played today. This could not under any definition of the word be considered a totally different team to the one Warnock won half his games with last season.

Watford had zero shots in the second half until a very late free kick.
We played pretty well, without cutting edge.
Assombolonga did pretty well and we looked solid.

Fletcher is an absolute fanny. He did not remotely put a shift in. Assombolonga did tonight.
Had Hall not lost his man we would have got at least a point tonight.

I honestly don't get the doom and gloom from some. We will sign a number of players before the window shuts, one of whom will replace the tart Fletcher. We will be fine.
So pleased someone called fletcher out for what he is. A tart in undies. Big strapping lad with a heart like a baby pea. Zero courage
I bet NW can’t wai to put him on the bench

Dyou know what youre right. Without Rudy Gestede and Ryan Shotton it's a completely different team. I don't know how he'll manage without them. God knows we would be in the third division now if it wasn't for Rudy's goals.

We haven't replaced the players who left last season by a long chalk - for example 2 forwards left but none have come in, three defenders have left but only 1 has come in.

I feel sorry for Warnock, he deserves better.

Johnson the ex Bristol City manager was commenting on TalkSport2 that he was surprised Middlesbrough's squad lacked a bit more quality and attacking options. He said Fletcher was not using his physical assets to make life difficult for the Watford defenders. He was quite impressed with Tav.

Assombalonga saw it late as it had just cleared the defender's head, Hall had turned his back, so by the time he was back facing their player had got ahead for a free header

My comment was more about the OPs take that Britt did well but Hall cost us a point, when it is equally as arguable that Britt cost us the point by missing a free header in the 6 yard box.

Not saying Hall was perfect defending, if you get square on you can't let the attacker get a step on you he didn't want to let him but Cathcart out muscled him, however Hall turned, contested the run & it certainly wasn't a free header. Cathcart just got there a step ahead, didn't freeze when the ball just cleared the Watford player's head in front of him & stuck it in the back of the net. Well played Cathcart.

We deserved nothing, Watford had pretty much their full first team squad injured and were on the back of a relegation, and we didnt put them under any pressure in the slightest. Same problems from last season, just hoping we can actually act in the next few weeks or we might as well write off another season
