The theme is McGree, Howson and Crooks doesn’t work. I’m sorry, it just doesn’t.Yes. I hope so too.
But that first half performance?
The absolute blow out at Preston?
Something’s not right somewhere
And currently no option to change it. How have we stated a season in this shape? The theme is McGree, Howson and Crooks doesn’t work. I’m sorry, it just doesn’t.
Because we’re a disorganised shambles off the pitch ? Can see CW getting increasingly annoyed if signings don’t happen very quicklyAnd currently no option to change it. How have we stated a season in this shape?
We need a replacement for the ridiculous amount of off the ball work tav did for the team. The theme is McGree, Howson and Crooks doesn’t work. I’m sorry, it just doesn’t.
He's great at receiving the ball in tight spaces on the half turn and he has a real eye for a through ball. He's also got a change of pace and can drift past a player.I want it to work out for McGee but I’ve often worried that we have more chance of conceding a goal with him in the team last season . Maybe thatl change with run in the team after a pre season ,
Slightly harsh. Watched interviews today with about 5-6 PL managers and they were all saying how difficult it was to sign players during this window - I mean Eddie Howe was one, and if they can't get the players they want.....??Because we’re a disorganised shambles off the pitch ? Yes it’s true, but Newcastle just can’t throw an unlimited amount of money at it, they have to comply with FFP and build a greater turnaround allow them to spend.Slightly harsh. The situation at present is not ideal (to put it mildly) but at least today highlights the desperate need for 2xCM, 2xCF, LCB and an attacking/No. 10 MF who can link midfield and attack.
Sounds like aitorMy only issue with him is that he absolutely cast iron bolted to one way of playing. Once teams figure you out you need to have the flexibility to change it up. When Sheffield United got figured out in the Premier League it ended really badly cos he wouldn’t change it.
I still love aitor, when it's good it's very good.Sounds like aitor
The fact HE not one of the coaches took the huddle showed how angry he was.Just seen his post match interview. Wow, he was angry. Not seen him that visibly agitated and miffed before. Quite rightly, but clearly it hurt him today, which I find weirdly reassuring.
we could put McNair in there or even dijksteel as a temporary option until we sign preferably two strong midfieldersAnd currently no option to change it. How have we stated a season in this shape?
