I think it's hard to accurately assess where we are due to the extensive injuries disrupting so many players seasons, but it's safe to say that we are nowhere near a playoff team. We don't play the game in a way where having a team that is compact and organised pays dividends and we don't have the quality to consistently win playing like we do. We don't defend well, we are lightweight in midfield and we are ineffective up front. Add the current lack of pace to that too.
If, as I suspect, we continue to lose any decent players we currently have and replace them with punts then we're not building, more relying on luck.
I'd also add the managers belief/stubbornness into that. I think 90% of fans would pick Dieng in goal and have played Forss central as our only option, seeing as the club decided we don't need any strikers/goal threat in January.
