Co2

CO² not Co2 which would be 2 atoms of Cobalt
Did none of you guys study chemistry?
Yes l know the ² should be at the bottom.

I don’t understand
Are you conceding that you can’t support your anecdotal pub fact, or suggesting that opinions are only valid if not a new member? Pathetic!
Anyway, I can only afford a 1 hour argument so that’s me done for now
I'm conceding that you're a new member and everything that goes along with it, only the other day you were on about loonie lefties. You can't help yourself 😂

Doesn't take an hour.

I did wonder about the fate of the Riverside in the face of global sea level rise. While Everton appear to have a very optimistic view given where they parked their new stadium.

The polar ice caps are shrinking and around 99% of experts agree is in part due to global warming from the activities of humans.

I remember in the 1970s and 80s losing football for 3 to 4 weeks due to snow and ice, now more games seems lost to flooding/waterlogged pitches, than snow and ice. In 1963, I think football was called off for 9 weeks. The FAC Final had to be put back 3 weeks, because of congestion.

Hi Newusername am I missing something here?
We all create co2 just breathing even more if you do hard exercise and burning fossil fuels also creates co2, another member brought up the 33% so I really don’t understand your contribution unless it’s just trying to put me down but to answer your question gcse was after my time we did O levels at school

I have never once on this forum or the old board tried to belittle anyone if I have a different view I will try to vocalise any written reply constructively if this is what you are trying to do please elaborate because you really do have me puzzled

All through the thread climate change has been broadly agreed on its more about causation you could easily debunk the 99% agreed upon it has been quoted many times but just Google that phrase and you will find many questioning the accuracy and suggestion differences in their own data

Seems to me some people are making their mind up about climate change based on their own personal experience and nothing more.

I agree, and for that reason I also think the earth is flat.

ignoring climate change per se, do you not think that the massive destruction & devastation of the natural worlds habitats, huge & rapid species loss & all associated life systems collapsing are anything to be concerned about?

But then surely the majority of scientists would agree instead of a tiny, tiny portion
This is not fact. Maybe if you say it often enough, people will believe it.
It empirically is though isn't it. Unlike a right wing trumpist fact, this one can by empirically measured.
