Coburn today

He's doing all the hard work, and feeding on scraps... So drop him to the bench ?
No. I've not said he should be and I'm not suggesting we need to change anything. I'm saying Latte is looking good coming off the bench and it will be hard to justify leaving him out if Coburn isn't scoring.

Not if we keep winning and Coburn keeps being a big part of that. He is keeping defenders extremely occupied and it is creating lots of space and opportunities for others.

Just rewatched it whilst reading the Sad Mackem Bastars board, and it does look like little Josh was a little bit naughty there.

I love it. About time we had someone sticking it to them, rather than opponents Leah’s just sticking it to us.
Granted it may leave us short one day, but defenders don’t like him one bit and can’t settle.

Go on Josh Lad!

Bit of an unsung hero today I thought. Maybe a bit sloppy in possession but he did the dirty work, occupied their defenders and that helped the three in behind - they all had very good games.

Kind of a Kevin Davies for Bolton type job today. Certainly not to be sniffed at.

They are completely different players and therefore you'd have to play a different way - the "one for the other" argument doesn't work

There‘s clearly some top-notch coaching at work, here. He’s added that physicality to his game. As a striker, you learn to “hit” or “nudge” the defender just as you see the ball being played from wide or (more often) from a deeper midfielder. He’s recognised this. He could be a special talent, as he certainly knows where the onion bag is
