Come on Ipswich!

reminds me of us in 1988 against leicester, everyone in party mode all we had to do was turn up job done.and then

In fairness, we knew we had to win to be sure on the day. A draw would have been enough on the day because Villa only drew in the end.

Leicester were much better then than Huddersfield are now too

The best thing about the Ipswich 2nd goal is no4 for them is a mile offside. He goes for the first header and the block that leads to the goal.
I had 3 leeds fans explain to me how you just have to accept these things as part of the game after their offside goal against us.
I'm looking forward to agreeing with them in the morning.

i agree but we were to confident that we would do it

This is worse that the live text on the BBC website...

We are all watching it, it's tedious give it a rest
Thanks 👍
I've been at work all day and had no idea of the score (I'm 6 hours behind). I love threads like this as I at least get a taste of the live action and suspense. Way better then just going on the BBC website and looking at the final score (except on those days when you b***ds stop posting before the end of the game! 😂)

I would hardly describe Teacider's inane in match comments as 'suspenseful'

But heyho each to their own 👍

If Ipswich don't go up, they will do a Sunderland and be mid table next season, if Leeds stay down, they will be challenging again

I want Leeds and Southampton to join Leicester. (as much as I hate Leeds, my head says keep Ipswich in our division.
It’s a fair point.
The thing is, players like Summerville, if Leeds don’t get through the playoffs, will probably leave and he is their talisman by a country mile.
Different team without him.
Also, I don’t rate Farke, their manager, I don’t think he has what it takes to get players through getting out of the championship. He doesn’t have the belief in himself and the players somehow sense that.
Leeds surely can’t part company with him though because he’s seen to have done a good job (on the surface)

The other thing to say though is, I’ll be shocked if Leeds don’t win the playoffs, West Brom, Southampton and arguably Norwich are out of form and Leeds ought to be breezing through but we all know that the playoffs will always have a surprise 🤷‍♂️👌

Where have all the Cov fans gone? Stadium was virtually empty at full time.

If Ipswich don’t do it on Saturday it’ll be one of the biggest bottle jobs in football league history.
Coventry fans are proper fickle.
I thought the Leicester fans on Monday night were happy and cheering but if that was Boro with 5500 fans at Preston the singing would not of stopped throughout the game and at full time it would be bedlam and even crazier and noiser.
I just think Boro fans (and Leeds fans) are amongst the most passionate fans in the country by far, Sunderland too, in terms of singing and getting behind the team constantly…

Leeds and Southampton blow hot and cold. West brom and Norwich are shîte

Norwich are in the best form of the lot of them.

5 wins and 2 defeats in 10, and one of the defeats was the wrongful red card against us.

My ideal would be Ipswich to get their point and Norwich to beat the dirties in the play offs...
I still shudder at some of the Leeds so called tackles I used to see on MOTD in the late 60s.

6th placed team has only made the play of final twice in 13 seasons.

It will happen again of course, but I'm expecting Leeds to in the finals.
