Crowd vs Hull City

Anyone have an idea how many we've sold?

Hull have announced that their supporters can 'pay on the day' tomorrow night. They were allocated 967 tickets, so must be bringing less than that. A little disappointing taking into account their travel is paid for by the club. It's 90 miles down the road.

Another 26,000-27,000 crowd?

It's hard to estimate from the ticket site, as you never know how many blocks have been released.
But your guess is probably about right.

Will be similar to the Norwich crowd you'd assume.

Very poor effort from Hull when you consider the distance and that the club are offering free transport.

Very poor numbers from Hull, especially with free travel! They have never brought any great followings up here for years , even tho we nearly always sellout the full allocation at there place 👍

To be fair they have brought the full 3k a couple of times in recent'ish years.

Usually when they're in the promotion hunt.
It's obviously because they have nothing to play for this time, which is fair enough.

A Wednesday night to a town with an awful reputation, for what's effectively a dead rubber for your club, and it's live on Sky.

Yes, when they were doing well.
Where's this town with an awful reputation?

Middlesbrough has a terrible reputation nationally, often undeserved, but it does.

Outside of football, it's largely only ever been in the national news for negative reasons in my lifetime.

It's always quite depressing reading opposition match threads and just seeing the town and area being slagged off.

Shows the complete ignorance of people which is pretty common. I'm not from Middlesbrough I would defend it to anyone. It's better than most similar towns in a lot of ways and the football club is an absolute beacon and compared to a lot of other clubs a real gem for the town.

When you go to a midweek game its not like you have time to wander around the area normally taking in the local scenary and culture. The Boro is easy to get to for a midweek game from Hull, probably easier than a Saturday 3pm this time of the year. Free travel too. 800 to 900 fans is poor. The Riverside Stadium is a good night venue. This season has been a reasonable season for Hull - two good away draws recently at Sunderland and Blackburn.

It's pathetic for a City as big as Hull. Free travel and tickets in East stand cheaper than we are buying them for.

When we played Hull anyone remember the blonde haired bloke who had a tigers head draped across his shoulders in the late 60 early 70s at Ayersome Park.
They always stood in front of the boys end then which is why I noticed him. Before away fans put in other corner.
