David Crosby RIP

norfolkngood

Well-known member
David Crosby, founder of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills, Nash (and Young ) has died aged 81.

Genius, but absolute dope head.

David Crosby has been smoking marijuana for 60 years. “It hasn’t killed or derailed me,” he says. “I’ve done all the other drugs and they were very bad to me.”

On an all time high now - RIP David Crosby AKA 'the Croz'

If you make a deal with a fallen angel
to re-home his voice so pure and high,
you have to wear his black wings too
so folk know when they hear you
whose love song made them cry.

Considering he intoxicated himself with nearly every rec’ drug on the planet he did really well — 81 years is a more than decent time in this planet I’d say. Not to mention his collaborations weren’t that bad either.

RIP - and thanks for the memories.
I will never forget the thrill of walking back from the record shop and putting on Deja Vu for the first time.
It has been a mainstay of my music listening life and will continue to be

Went to see them at Wembley Stadium in 1974. Topped the bill over Joni Mitchell and The Band, plus support act.

Googled the concert last night and discovered that tickets cost £3.50.

I wonder how much it would cost to see any one of the acts these days.
