I thought O'brien had a really good game.
Thought Azaz had his best game last nightI'd drive Silvera to Sydney myself. Having slight glimpses won't cut it in this league, he goes missing for large parts of the games and the ball bounces off him. Whether it's Carrick's instructions or Sammy's laziness, but I didn't see him try to run in behind their back line all night.
Having said that, I thought Azaz was our poorest forward player tonight. He needs to get on those weights through the Summer, a fresh breeze would knock him off the ball.
Not sure what you were watching last night with that comment but I agree with most and say Azaz had a decent game last night, Silvera played ok ( not great) and Azaz was everywhere.I'd drive Silvera to Sydney myself. F*cking chill out.O'Brien? Are you winding me up?
He was excellent last night. You need to take up another sport if you think that was a poor performance.

You just need to compare the potency of their front 4 compared to ours. We've massively been reliant on Lath's goals recently for results.I enjoyed the match and particularly the finale, but we need an influx of quality to contend next season - and not just a return from the treatment table.

He was constantly moving and looking to link up. I honestly feel people watch a different game.
They've conceded fewer goals than anyone in the leagueLeeds are excellent going forward, but very poor at the back.
Yeah, I think some are getting a bit carried away in regards to Bangura. He has looked decent going forward but I'm still unsure on whether he's going to be good enough defensively.Dijksteel gave one of his car crash performances. I've regularly defended him, but he was horrendous first half yesterday.
Silvera is awful, miles below standard. That is not bias, it is obvious.
Thomas did pretty well last night I thought. I think Engel would have been ripped to bits. Bangura did very well when he came on, but the game was different by then and we were massively front foot.
O'Brien had an awful first half and lost possession in midfield so many times leading to danger/conceding. He was much better second half, much better.
Azaz is ponderous and lightweight. Not a good combination. He has some skill, but will never get the time he wants, or can create himself.
Leeds are excellent going forward, but very poor at the back.
We just gave the ball away too easily and they exploited our defensive frailty.

Howson looked knackered last 20 mins, thought he had a decent game against their pretty mobile midfield.I would keep O’Brien depending on cost, not one to push the boat out on but I think he has had some really good games and especially after his injury. Dijksteel and Thomas very poor and need to be convinced about Silvera, it is still early stages for him. I thought Howson struggled last night, have always rated him but he looked off the pace of the game. My biggest worry is can we hold on to Latte Lath, could see one of promoted clubs or one of those coming down being interested. He looks like a potential 20 goal striker so we desperately need to hold on to him. Interesting summer ahead
I get that, but I've watched them concede 5 against us this season and they could have conceded many more. It's not as though we are the free scoring kings of last season. They've conceded fewer goals than anyone in the league
You really learnt nothing from the latte lath thread did you?Silvera would be out of his depth in a small puddle to be honest
Absolutely. Jones is kind of a Watmore type. He'll score the odd goal he has no right to then miss 5 chances it is easier to score from. The problem is that Carrick's system generates a lot of chances for the right forward position and we need someone who is good at converting those chances or we really have to make up the lack elsewhere. If Jones is going to play, we need a goalscoring no10 and a goalscoring LF.
They literally have the lowest goals against in the league. Conceded precisely 4 goals from January to the end of March. They look very frail to me defensively.
I've already said I can read the goals against column - thanks. They literally have the lowest goals against in the league. Conceded precisely 4 goals from January to the end of March.
They have had a bit of wobble in April.
The most they have conceded in a game is 3 goals: against us, Southampton and Ipswich. They won two of those 4:3. Their 3-1 loss to Southampton is the only time all season they have lost by more than 1 goal.
