I know how organisations work. I am suspicious of anyone that is only ever 100% positive or tries to continually spin reality. It is not a natural human trait unless there is a personal reason for doing so, I do doubt and question the validity of your constant spin given my knowledge of large internal organisations and media teams, I will leave you to it now and good luck in your efforts, over and out.

People who only ever post positive stuff when the reality is very obviously the opposite ( as now) are just as bad a troll in
My eyes as the negative idiots that always slag us off

It’s called balance.

No true boro fan can be anything other than concerned right now it’s not a time for sunshine and rainbows.

That’s just barking mad, you know how organisations work so you’re right? You’ll see me being negative in 18 games time and we are floating near the bottom, not after 5 games. I just don't subscribe to the doom and gloom.

No sunshine’s and rainbows it’s just not the time to panic.
 
Carrick Will sort it.

Look how he turned round Wilders team pre Christmas last season and had us flying before we added the extra quality in January. We are at the start of a new season with a lot of new players, it’ll take a little time to settle and for the team and patterns of play to gel but it will come. It wouldn’t surprise me to see us come out post international break a much more cohesive and solid unit and go on a run. Whether we ultimately get into a position where we can add further quality in January and keep pushing on we’ll see but I expect it’ll come together and we’ll push the playoffs come end of season. However, if we don’t reach the playoffs it doesn’t mean we should sack Carrick, rip it all up and start again - long term builds take time. We can’t afford to boom and bust we need a solid build and if it takes 2-3 seasons to get promoted then so be it, hopefully when we do we’ll be in a stronger position to make a better fist of it.
 
The last time we relied on projects was when Woodgate was in charge and we all know how that ended. The time before that was with Southgate. Again, that didn’t end well, in fact we still haven’t recovered almost 15 years later.

After coming so close last season, the fact we have only brought in Dieng and O’Brien with any real experience is baffling.

I assume you mean a striker that’s played at this level? Like Forss and coburn? Maybe we should have gone all out for billy sharp and assombalonga, real championship stalwarts.

No, I think you’ll find I used the word suspicious, so don’t spin my words too. Your actions, your relative politeness, deflection do fit a certain narrative that warrant suspicion thats all, now seriously enjoy your spin, and seriously, I hope you don’t get your 18 game time opportunity. You should learn to understand the difference between negativity and reality and that to correct mistakes they at first need identifying, accepted, owned and a plan put in place to overcome the errors.

If Carrick had your view and was just positive about the situation, failed to accept the reality, understand the situation, recognise faults, communicate as such with his staff and develop for effective improvement where feasible, where do you think we’d all be heading? This board reflects all the woes Carrick has to work to fix, that is a reality, we all hope he does it, but he has to do it with substandard tools right now. It can and may change, we ALL want it to, but right now. I hope he understands the situation. Media soundbites are used by organisations to win hearts and minds, people are not stupid, whatever your role in life is, never try to pull the wool over peoples eyes, never treat your customers whoever they may be, as stupid, even if they are. G’day cobber.

Exactly it’s only 5 games turn into it’s only 10 games it’s meaningless platitudes that really annoy me.

Sorry the fact I’m not pulling my hair out after 5 games is just what it is, nothing really suspicious about it. You’ve gone off on some tangent here that’s nothing to do with my support of mfc or my work.

stop over reacting, they're not awful, people said exactly the same about Akpom and are now crying because we sold Akpom.

They are a work in progress. This might be one step back to take two steps forward, it might even be two steps back just due to the nature of the number of changes we have made, but there is clear talent in players like Latte Lath, Van Den Berg, Engel and Rogers but there are a lot on a steep learning curve right now....including the manager who has 10 months behind him and is learning about pragmatism, player experience, culture changes, etc. and how they impact results.
