Do you think Vaccine passports should be needed to get into pubs?

I've finished in the garden thanks, done what I needed to do. You don't need to mention a totalitarian state for it to be clear your paranoia thinks that's where this is heading in your world. Relax, live a little, enjoy the road to freedom. Embrace it, don't be so petrified of the destination that you can't make the journey
Live a little and enjoy the road to freedom?

Nothing you support supports those suggestions. 🤣

The NHS is protected, it's had its two shots of vaccine, it's had a full pay cheque every month, it's saved people's lives, it's infected people, it's released old infected folk back into care homes. It's time for the population to be given two choices.

An immediate full return to life pre pandemic free of any and all 'restrictions' and begin the long arduous task of working to get the country back on its feet for future generations.
Or
Continue in a state of 'lockdown' with any aid to continue to be provided.

OK randy, let's shut down your industry until the world and his wife have jabs. Deary me 😪😪
You'd like that though wouldn't you if it meant you still got your full pay cheque every month.

Never mind the fact I and around 3 million others have either taken 20% pay cuts in our monthly income or lost our jobs entirely through absolutely no fault of our own because the government and its advisors decided that they needed a fall guy that wasn't the government and picked hospitality.

Face it, vaccine passports are doomed to fail and not even get off the ground properly. Johnson been going around this weekend claiming they'll only be in force for a year, you know like that time he said we only needed three weeks to save the NHS from apocalypse, it's not even going to get through parliament assuming Starmer actually has a backbone to stand behind what he's said himself.

Where are we shifting the goalposts next?

Three weeks to save the NHS.
12 weeks and were back to normal.
Track and trace will slow down the spread (it didn't by the way, climate did).
Covid knows what time it is and of you are stood up or sat down. It also knows of you are eating or not, clever little b****d it is.
Schools are safe, wait, unions say they aren't, ****, let's close them again, they are only kids they'll get over it.
Hurrah the vaccine is here, once we've done the 9 groups we are good to go, that accounts for 99% of all cases (asymptomatic and symptomatic) and deaths.
Well actually no we need to vaccinate all the population, we've given you some dates but the loosening of lockdown will be determined by data not dates.
Wait, b***r, the numbers are coming down far far quicker than those clowns with the models predicted, we'll revert back to dates and not data, the gullible public will never realise, they love a catchy slogan. HANDS FACE SPACE FRESH AIR (ironic I know after we locked the population up for another 3 months.
We hope the public haven't noticed our MSM isn't reporting on news from America as much these days after Trump lost, they'll see that a vast amount of states have decided to open back up, free of restrictions. Reporting on the zillionth new variant to be found will distract them, we'll be it the Bognor Regis variant or some other b***ks.
Here's an idea, we vaccinate everyone and only allow those who've been vaccinated to carry on with pre pandemic life. We'll give them an app or a little card as proof. It doesn't matter that the vaccine works, stops transmission, stops people dying, we can't have two fully vaccinated people in the same room together without the passport. So does the vaccine work Mr Prime Minister? Yes it does Laura. So why do we need passports? Well brexit, Carrie, cheese and crackers, waffle waffle waffle.

I mean ****, this whole pandemic might actually make me vote for the Lib Dems at any forthcoming elections, at least they seem to have some god damn principles.

Your making the assumption i care or want to know more about you. I don't. You seem to have an inflated opinion about yourself and my view of you.

I'd happily stand next to you and say exactly what I've said on here, my view is that if you wouldn't say it to the fella next to you in the pub, don't say it here. If you think you're some sort of intimidating character I wouldn't say anything I've said on here to, you're massively mistaken. You'd need to be one very hard chu t for me to shìt my knickers over

You say that but then try to paint an image of what you would like me to rather than what I am, attemp to refrain from doing so going forward.

I'll take your word for the second part of what you've posted, I doubt it but will give you the benefit.

As we won't agree on topic, I'll leave it there and be the bigger man.

I would, like that!!?? Jesus Harold Christ!

FFS randy! The 1st sentence is the biggest load of bolllox I've seen posted! And as for those losing their jobs, I lost mine in August, didn't start the new role till January so it was a very worrying few months, don't give me that BS. Share your tin foil hat with alvez, that fella clearly needs some help

I can only imagine anyone's saying 'yes' has had the jab (or even 2) or doesn't go to pubs?

If it's only people who have the vaccine then it stops all young people going out. I'm in my 40s and still not had one jab never mind 2. So I can't go to a pub? For possibly months.

Also I am guessing if it comes in the everyone who works in pubs and restaurants will have to have had the vaccine? They are usually young. So probably not had one.

You couldn't be more wrong Artie, I think it is clear that the government want to milk covid some more and I think my posts make that standpoint clear.

On the subject of paranoia, you have now had both jabs, and that's great. What do you realistically think you're risk is now, assuming you were to catch covid? Do you think you are more or less likely to die, for example of covid or another unrelated incident or disease?

I am not being snide, I think my chances of dying from covid are close to nil and I have only had one jab, I am 56 and in good health.

Ask yourself this Artie, and if you have an answer I would like to hear it. Last summer this same government not only thought it was safe to visit pubs and restaruants but actively encouraged it. At the same time they were actively encouaging us back into offices, by way of cramped public transport, presumeably.

What has changed in 9 months that now means it's unsafe to go to a pub or restaurant without additional safe guards in place? Oh and persuant to Randy's post, we would, again, presumeably, be travelling to large venues on the same mobbed public transport.
Nothings changed. The government are still grossly incompetent and making it up as they go along.

And now you have your NHS wage, two jabs and job for life your playing the high and mighty. How's that boot taste? I appreciate you've got to tow the line as it were so wouldn't expect anything less than you supporting 'the papers'.

Tin foil hat? Oh this will be good, what exactly is tin foil hat about the current situation? There were people around 12 months ago who predicted eerily accurately what is happening now.
