Dublin or Belfast ?

Sligo is pretty cool too. And for a small town with a brilliant location Westport is worthy of consideration. Achill island the Atlantic Drive are close by and scenically superb. I also love Dingle and the Slea Head Peninsula with the option of a trip to the Blasket Islands. I’d choose all three over a trip to Dublin or Belfast, but it depends what you want. I like mountains and western facing sea scapes.

That's a long weekend 😄

Belfast - Nicer City centre and compact enough to walk around which i've done a fair bit. only downside is Hotels and drinking in certain places getting expensive.
Probably a pretty good summary. Slightly different perhaps, but I'd also definitely throw Galway and Cork into the mix.

Been to both quite a few times, both work 🌊 ta-ra and pleasure🍺🍻.

Belfast was excellent, but I like going to Dublin for the football it plays through the summer months and most are evening KO 7.45 on a Friday night. There`s a few teams play out of Dublin. Watch a match have a pint there and then afterwards.
I haven't checked out Belfast yet for Football , but will do.

Dublin, understandably, has more of a global/capital city vibe, so it really depends what you're after. Both are good in different ways.

The Guinness tour is a bit cliched but I actually quite enjoyed it.

Cork and Galway are equally as good I'd say as well.
