There would be calls of assault and prosecution if a male coach pushed a female coach in this way. When was the last time a male manager pushed another male manager like that at the end of a major game?

There is now? There would be calls of assault and prosecution if a male coach pushed a female coach in this way.
Not necessarily. Under Law 12, a team official can be cautioned for:The Arsenal Manager should have been booked for leaving his technical area?
clearly/persistently not respecting the confines of their team’s technical area
It’s clearly /persistently. That’s and/or. So should you clearly leave, I.e. leaving the area by a a good margin, entering another teams technical area etc, or by leaving the area it draws the refs attention. Then yes just the once and you can be booked. Not necessarily. Under Law 12, a team official can be cautioned for:
So I'd say it's very much a referee's judgement call on whether to caution him for that specific incident.
If they only leave their team's technical area occasionally, the law only calls for a warning.
Ha, great choice of phrase. CDWM?She's incredibly preachy. Could do with taking some advice from other people on board every so often. All the grace and decorum of a reversing dump truck without any tyres on
Olivia Colman recently claimed she would definitely be paid **** loads more if she was a man.Scuffles like that happen all the time in the mens game with no-one getting sacked. Where are people getting all this 'if that was a man' rubbish from?

On what grounds? I’d imagine her earnings have dwarfed Mitchell and Webb’s since they were all in Peep Show together.
I can’t stand the way some people just can’t resist bringing identity politics into EVERYthing, as Hayes has done here.
She was on Fantasy Football last month and I didn’t find her enormously endearing to be honest. Clearly she was emotional here, but she probably doesn’t know (or care) how much damage comments like that can do to people.
It’s two people who cannot resist the urge to bring identity politics into everything. They do both happen to be women, and lots of men do it too. You've just done what you said you hate. Two completely unrelated woman now validate your world are to blame
I’m not sure they do bring “identity politics into everything”. I’ve heard Colman speak many times and not mention gender. It is absolutely true that women actors get paid significantly less though. She isn’t wrong and why shouldn’t she be annoyed about that? It’s two people who cannot resist the urge to bring identity politics into everything. She isn’t wrong about the point generally. Women actors are generally paid less than men.I’m not sure they do bring “identity politics into everything”. okAt least you're honest about your own desire to bring identity politics into everything then
It quite often gets released what actors get paid for movies, she may even have the same agent as some similar calibre or lower actors. I’m sure she is well aware how her pay is relative to men. Far more knowledge than you or I have. She isn’t wrong about the point generally. Women actors are generally paid less than men.
Her assertion that she herself was being paid less because she isn’t a man, is a huge assumption based on nothing scientific. She actually said “phuck loads less” which again, isn’t based on anything.
The idea that every single woman would be paid more if they were a man isn’t accurate. Or at least, it’s as accurate as saying that every man is physically stronger than every woman (which is also obviously not true).
I have no doubt at all that she earns less than plenty of woman actors who don’t have the same awards that she has either. She probably earns more than some men who’ve won loads as well.It quite often gets released what actors get paid for movies, she may even have the same agent as some similar calibre or lower actors. She’s got an Oscar, BAFTAs, emmys and golden globes, she should really be at the top end of her profession paywise and she has an awareness that she isn’t. She isn’t talking about every woman, she’s talking about herself
Ah capitalism rules, meritocracy sucks, got itI have no doubt at all that she earns less than plenty of woman actors who don’t have the same awards that she has either. She probably earns more than some men who’ve won loads as well.
Because Hollywood doesn’t pay based on awards, necessarily. It pays on who is going to draw the most dosh. If she was a man, would she draw more dosh? I’m not sure what evidence there is for that. It would depend on a number of other factors.
It’s no different to the argument about men and women footballers. Sure, maybe one day we’ll get to a point where both are earning the same, but it’s a long way off.
I didn’t design the system mate. Or do you think Emma Hayes should earn what Pep does? Her achievements are also pretty unrivalled aren’t they? That would be a true meritocracy.Ah capitalism rules, meritocracy sucks, got it

My point is she has no idea what she’d earn if she was a bloke. She isn’t wrong that men generally earn more than women and that’s a societal problem in general, but it’s not necessarily something she personally has been a victim of.
