Emma Hayes

You say you hate identify politics but now you're using a point made by Olivia Coleman, a woman, to assign a value to Emma Hayes, another woman.
Ok that’s a fair point, given the example I gave here was also a woman. But as I said above, there are lots of people who aren’t women using identity politics in a way that I don’t think is helpful too. It’s become a tool that can be easily misused, in my opinion.

Yet you're using it. I don't see how you can't see that

But by the by

I’m not using it to claim that I should be paid more, or that other people should be paid less. Good luck to her whatever she earns, I hope she earns even more than she already does, but her assertion that if she had a penis she’d automatically be paid more is no more true than saying she’d be paid more/less if she was younger/older, more/less attractive, better/worse at acting or whatever else she could pluck out of the air.

If she’d just pointed out that women earn less (in society, it’s not unique to Hollywood although it is also true in that industry) she’d have of course had lots of evidence to back that up.

I didn't claim you had. My point is you're using two completely unrelated woman together to make a point you want to make on identity politics

You're using identity politics

Well they share something in common other than their identities, and that is that they’ve both tried to make an argument based on nothing but their gender with virtually no evidence to back it up.

You've attributed their motived on the basis that they are both women. I don't know how to spell it out to you any clearer
I haven’t, I’ve attributed it to their both being wrong and both having no evidence to back up their claim.

I’m lumping you and Mart in with them now as well. Both wrong 😉 😜 and I know for a fact Mart isn’t a woman. 😁

Good night 👍 😴

You literally used something said by Olivia Coleman as an example for Emma Hayes, the only link between them is they are both women.

That's identity politics

Ok! (For me the link is they’re both wrong and can’t back up their claims).

I’m sure I’m flawed in your opinion.

I am flawed, we all are.

Still going to bed though. 😁😉
