I think people are tearing into the same players across multiple threads to be fair. It's not all of them. Far from it.

There is a dearth of quality across the entire squad. There's only about 3 players I wouldn't be looking to replace. We have a squad of average championship players and more bottom end players than top. Not sure we've got anyone that would get in Leicester, Southampton or Leeds teams.

And why are multiple threads even needed in the first place? Same people just lining up, falling over themselves to say the same exact sh*t about the same players constantly.
Loads of the players have variously had it on here this season as well, players like Silvera, Barlaser, Rogers, Engel, Greenwood, Crooks, Fry, Glover.
Nobody seems to hate Boro players more than Boro fans. Not a new trend either.
What do you think the problem is then? Are they all superstars and we are just really unlucky?

I think you’ll find other boards fans are exactly the same about their own players. It’s not an exclusive thing by us - far from it

It's the same on every forum.
You get the posters who won't accept that the club or players can do any wrong.
You get the majority who'll criticise when it's due and be unhappy when things are going badly, but are quite happy to give praise and celebrate wins when they come.
You then get the other posters who are never happy, and are largely nowhere to be seen when the team is doing well as they only like complaining.
Looking at other boards over transfers and results and it's basically a mirror of here.
Even at majorly successful clubs.

Whoever our right back is has Jones or Forss tracking back. That makes a huge difference.

It was the same last season and it’s just the way we set up.
I think it was Obrien who should have been supporting / covering for him more yesterday.

Exactly. Giles was also left with a lack of support, which perhaps exposed him too often.
Carrick needs to pick a more balanced team.

I do agree he has had no support but look at that yesterday. He was absolutely oblivious as to where their wide lad was on at least a couple of occasions. It’s one man. One lead to a goal and the other should have as well. He really is poor.
I know everyones throwing a strop about Engel this week but lets be honest he's not our worst left back this season, never mind many a year. Much better option there than Coulson.
Completely agree. Engel played 80 minutes in the 4 nil win vs Sunderland, 70 odd minutes of the 1 nil win over Chelsea, 90 mins in the wins vs West Brom and Leicester...
It's been explained again and again on here this season, I don't really get how some people still don't understand it. We're buying young players and trying to develop them. That means they won't be perfect. They will go through bad patches. We can't afford to do anything else.
We can very well afford to do more but Gibsons hell bent on sustainability nowadays and isn't going for it like we once did
